EVAline is the only swimming pool lighting system designed entirely for asymmetrical light distribution. The light is directed at an angle towards precisely those areas that need it, rather than being emitted widely and uncontrollably as with traditional systems. This provides an even light pattern and makes the system significantly more efficient than symmetrical lighting.

The linear lighting is placed around the pool, not above the water. The asymmetrical design cuts off the light output at the sides. The light that would otherwise shine horizontally towards the opposite side is blocked and directed solely towards the swimming area. This ensures that supervisors on the opposite side of the pool are not blinded and that swimmers are provided with a calmer lighting environment. Independently certified by DEKRA. The asymmetrical light line has been extensively tested by the international product testing and certification organisation DEKRA, resulting in a ball-impact resistance certificate (DIN VDE 0710-13:1981, DIN 18032-3:1997) and a UGR value of >19. No self-proclaimed claims, but external evidence, ready for the most demanding sporting and competitive environments.

The asymmetrical design enhances visual comfort for both swimmers and lifeguards. This is particularly beneficial for backstroke and recreational swimming, whilst also improving sightlines for supervision and safety around the pool.
