4. How website forms reach our CRM system

Forms on our website send your details automatically to our customer relationship management (CRM) system, which we use to follow up enquiries. This happens through a secure API connection between our website and the CRM system.

  1. You submit a form on evaoptic.com.
  2. Our website stores the submission and sends the form fields to our CRM system over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
  3. The CRM system creates or updates a lead or contact record. If you contacted us before, we link the new request to your existing record to avoid duplicates.
  4. Our sales and support staff use that record to answer you, prepare quotes, and keep track of our contact with you.

Our CRM provider acts as our processor under a data processing agreement. The provider may only process your data on our instructions and must keep it secure and confidential.

Our CRM data is stored in data centres within the European Economic Area (EEA). If the provider accesses data from outside the EEA, for example for support, section 6 explains how those transfers are protected.

We allow this only with appropriate safeguards: an EU adequacy decision (including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for certified US companies) or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with additional measures where needed. Contact us for a copy of the relevant safeguards.

  • Functional cookies: keep the website and forms working and remember your cookie choice. No consent needed.

We use it based on our legitimate interest in protecting our forms against abuse. Google’s privacy policy and terms apply.
  • Analytics cookies: loaded through Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use our website. Only with your consent; we set IP anonymisation where available.
