The EVAstream Next 175 works exclusively with EVA Control Eco, which does not support training options or lighting. For higher-capacity EVAstream models (225 m³/h and above), you can choose from EVA Control 1, 2, or 3:
- EVA Control 1 Essential provides basic operation and enables control of EVA underwater lighting but does not include training programs.
- EVA Control 2 Trainer adds three pre-set swim workouts: a sprint, interval, and endurance training, with automatic light synchronization.
- EVA Control 3 ProTrainer offers three full training programs with a total of 20 pre-set swim workouts and the ability to program custom workouts.

Before your start: How to perfectly position your EVAstream for the best swimming experience
For an optimal counter-current swimming experience, proper installation and positioning of the EVAstream are essential. Follow these guidelines to ensure the best performance and user experience.
1. Symmetrical Pool Setup
Install the EVAstream centrally in the pool wall, ensuring there are no obstructions such as steps or ledges that could disrupt the water flow.
2. Placing the Turbine
Mount the turbine at a depth of 25-28 cm from the water surface to the center of the turbine. Ensure secure and level installation for optimal flow efficiency.
3. Defining the swim zone
The ideal swimming position is 1.5 – 3 meters away from the turbine outlet. Positioning the swimmer correctly ensures a balanced and effective counter-current experience.
4. Adjusting the Machine
Important! Always adjust the machine together with the end user.
- For the best swim experience, the swimmer should feel the water flow on the torso for maximum resistance and control.
- Adjust the machine position in the niche until the swimmer experiences the optimal water resistance.
- Take your time for this step—it is crucial for the best possible swimming experience!

The EVAstream Next 175 is the entry-level model designed for recreational swimmers. Swim training requires a more powerful machine, starting from the Next 225 model.
No. An EVA Control unit is always required to operate an EVAstream. With it, you automatically gain access to the specially developed EVA Web App. We specifically chose a web app because it is accessible on all operating systems and can be controlled from any device.
If you still prefer using a remote control, you can easily expand your setup with our IP67 splash-proof remote control.
Absolutely. The EVA Web App can be accessed from any tablet or smartphone, regardless of the operating system. If you do not have a waterproof smartphone or tablet, you can use the EVA IP67 remote control, which is designed for use with wet hands and can be placed on the poolside while swimming.
With expansion kits for 2, 3, or 4 x 25W SubAqua RGBW lights (including niche and cover plate) and a central power supply unit, you can easily integrate synchronized underwater lighting into your EVAstream setup.
Only the EVAstream Next 175 with ECA Control Eco cannot be connected to underwater lighting. All other EVAstream Next models and EVA Control units support this feature. Convenient expansion kits for 2, 3, or 4 EVA SubAqua 25W RGBW underwater lights are available.
The mobile EVAstream Move models are not expandable with EVA LED underwater lighting.
Yes. Since the introduction of the EVAstream Next series, the EVAstream with Motor Control Unit (MCU) and the EVA Control (ECA) are separate components. This allows RGBW underwater lighting connected to the EVAstream to be operated independently, even when the EVAstream is turned off.
That depends on the type of EVAstream you choose. If you opt for the EVAstream Move, you get a portable swim machine that you can place in the pool for each use and return to its storage location afterward. No technical knowledge is required for this. The built-in version (EVAstream Next) must be installed by one of our installation partners. Contact us to find a reseller near you.
