All EVAstream swim machines comply with strict international safety standards for electrical safety, entrapment protection, and hair safety. They meet the requirements for both private pools (EN 16582-1) and public pools (EN 13451-1).
The extra spacious swimming zone allows you to swim more naturally and comfortably. You can stay 1.5 – 3 meters from the machine while maintaining an optimal body position with less effort. Because the current is directed at your torso rather than the head, it prevents disruptive splashing. This powerful, wide stream also allows you to accelerate or decelerate freely, replicating the feel of a competition pool.
Installing a built-in EVAstream requires the following components:
- EVAstream model – Choose a model based on your swimming level and intended use. This determines the power and flow capacity.
- EVA Control unit – This defines the available functionalities, from basic speed adjustment to advanced training programs.
- Control options – Every system includes access to the EVA Web app. The waterproof EVA Remote Basic is available as an optional add-on.
- EVAsubaqua underwater lighting (optional) – Add EVAsubaqua to synchronize guided lighting effects with your swim sessions.
- Installation components – Choose the appropriate installation niche for recessed mounting of the EVAstream and choose a cover plate in your preferred colour and finish.
The EVAstream are designed for different swimming levels. The key differences are in power, flow speed, suitability and intended use. The EVAstream models offers flow rates from 175 m³/h to 550 m³/h. The double turbine allows for an even higher flow rate and wider swim zone.
The EVAstream models:
- EVAstream 175 – Designed for recreational swimmers, offering flow rates between 35–175 m³/h and speeds up to 4.3 m/s (2:15 per 100m).
- EVAstream/Move 225 – Suitable for recreational swimmers, with 45–225 m³/h and speeds up to 5.5 m/s (1:40 per 100m).
- EVAstream/Move 275 – Ideal for experienced swimmers, delivering 55–275 m³/h with speeds up to 6.7 m/s (1:25 per 100m).
- EVAstream 350 – Designed for professional swimmers, with 65–350 m³/h and speeds up to 8.6 m/s (1:10 per 100m).
- EVAstream 450 (dual turbine) – Suitable for experienced swimmers, offering 90–450 m³/h with twin-turbine flow speeds up to 2x 5.5 m/s (1:15 per 100m).
- EVAstream 550 (dual turbine) – A professional-level swim machine with 110–550 m³/h, delivering speeds up to 2x 6.7 m/s (1:05 per 100m).
Every EVAstream requires an EVA Control to determine the available features. Choose your EVAstream model based on the desired flow capacity and from basic operation to advanced training programs. Every EVAstream comes standard with the EVA Web app for easy control via a smartphone or tablet.
The different functionality options:
- EVA Control Eco
Specifically designed for the EVAstream 175, the EVA Control Eco offers: Basic functions (on/off, speed, timer). This control has no pre-set training programs and is not compatible with underwater lighting. This model cannot be used with other EVAstream models.
- EVA Control 1 Essential
Basic operation, compatible with EVAsubaqua underwater lighting, but without pre-set training programs.
- EVA Control 2 Trainer
Includes 3 swim training programs (sprint, interval, endurance) with synchronized underwater lighting.
- EVA Control 3 ProTrainer
Offers the most advanced training options, it includes 20+ pre-set training sessions and the ability to create and save custom workouts:
- Buildup program – 10 sessions to improve endurance.
- Sprint program – 5 high-intensity training sessions.
- Endurance program – 5 sessions focused on strength and endurance.
- Ability to create and save custom workouts.
Note: The EVA Control 1, 2, or 3 are for EVAstream models from 225 m³/h and higher.
The EVAstream combines advanced engineering, user experience, and elegant design to create a superior swim machine.
Patented turbine design
The EVAstream motor generates a strong, far-reaching current that naturally lifts your body into a sable swimming position. The extra spacious swim zone allows free acceleration and deceleration like a competition pool.
Quiet and durable motor
The motor is hermetically sealed, the vibration-free design with frictionless bearings ensures exceptionally quiet operation. This allows you to swim or relax undisturbed, without any disruptive motor noise or vibrations.
Advanced training options
The EVAstream is compatible with EVAsubaqua underwater lighting for guided interval, sprint and endurance sessions. Control the EVAstream with the EVA Web app or with the optional waterproof EVA Remote Basic.
Design and efficiency
The EVAstream features a compact and stylish design that integrates seamlessly into high-end pool environments. It is energy-efficient and operates on a standard power supply, so it doesn’t require a high-voltage connection.
Absolutely. The water flow of the EVAstream can be easily adjusted. Using the EVA Web app or the EVA Remote Basic, you can turn the EVAstream on and off, adjust the flow speed and start a training session directly from the pool.
The EVAstream 175 is the entry-level model designed for recreational swimmers. Swim training requires a more powerful machine, starting from the 225 model.
No, an EVA Control unit is always required to operate an EVAstream. With the EVA Control, you automatically gain access to the specially developed EVA Web app which works on any operating system and can be used from any device. We specifically chose a web app because it is accessible on all operating systems and can be controlled from any device.
If you still prefer using a remote control, you can easily expand your setup with our waterproof EVA Remote Basic.
Absolutely. The EVAstream can easily be operated while you are in the pool. The EVA Web app can be accessed from any smartphone or tablet, regardless of the operating system. If your device is not waterproof, you can use the EVA Remote Basic, a waterproof remote. It can be placed conveniently on the poolside, allowing you to adjust the settings safely and effortlessly during your swim.
Only the EVAstream 175 with ECA Control Eco cannot be connected to underwater lighting. All other EVAstream models and EVA Control units support this feature. With convenient expansion kits for 2, 3, or 4 EVAsubaqua 25W rgbw lights, including the niche and cover plate and a central power supply unit, you can easily integrate underwater lighting into your EVAstream setup.

EVAsubaqua
The number of lights you need depends on your pool size, shape and depth. To make it easier we’ve created a special calculator that helps you determine the exact number of lights required for optimal illumination.
Open the calculator.
The available colour options depend on the model you choose. The EVAsubaqua A25 and A40 mono versions are available in warm white, clear white or mediterranean. The EVAsubaqua A25W and A50 rgbw are available in multicolour warm white or multicolour clear white.
Absolutely. Through continuous research and development, the underwater lighting of EVA Optic has been internationally recognized for years as high quality and highly reliable. All models meet the IEC EN 60598-2-18 the safety standard for underwater lights. This includes testing for electrical safety (SELV), watertightness (IPX8/IP68), insulation class (III), impact resistance, mechanical strength, high pressure resistance, thermal protection and fire safety. Every EVA underwater lamp has a full 4-year manufacturer’s warranty, reflecting our commitment to quality and reliability.
Compared to traditional pool lighting, the EVAsubaqua:
- The EVAsubaqua consume 50% to 70% less energy than fluorescent and gas discharge lighting.
- The lifespan of led lighting is 5 to 10 times higher.
- The annual energy and maintenance costs are 90% lower.
- The investment in led lighting is therefore recouped on average within 2 to 3 years.
This makes the EVAsubaqua both cost-effective and environmentally friendly.
Yes. The Motor Control Unit (MCU) and the EVA Control (ECA) are separate components. This allows the underwater lighting to be operated independently, even when the EVAstream itself is turned off. You can therefore enjoy the ambient lighting in your pool at any time, even when the EVAstream is turned off.
