Network connection: Choose your network

The ECA Control system can be connected in two ways:

  • Via Your Home Network (Recommended) – Allows remote access and seamless integration.
  • Via the ECA Control’s Own Network – Useful for direct access when no external network is available.

1. Home network (recommended)

This option is preferred if the home network provides sufficient coverage around the pool:

  • Once connected, the ECA Control will no longer broadcast its own network.
  • The tablet remains connected to the home network while operating the ECA Control.
  • Switching networks on the tablet is not necessary to control the system.

2. ECA network (Access Point Mode)

This option is suitable if the home network does not provide sufficient coverage around the pool:

  • The ECA Control creates its own Wi-Fi network, allowing direct connection.
  • The tablet connects to this network to operate the ECA Control.
  • Expanding the home network’s coverage is not necessary.
  • Your device will not be connected to the internet while using this network.

1. Home network (recommended)

This option is preferred if the home network provides sufficient coverage around the pool.

  • If using an Ethernet cable, the connection is established automatically.
  • If connecting via Wi-Fi, first complete the Wi-Fi setup steps before proceeding.

Wi-Fi setup

To connect the ECA Control to the home network via Wi-Fi, enable the Wi-Fi setup mode:

  • Remove the cover of the ECA Control to access the Printed Circuit Board (PCB).
