Train like a Pro: swim training in your own pool

A ‘Train like a Pro’ swimming session is a complete swimming session comprising a warm-up, core exercises, rest periods and a cool-down. You choose the intensity level yourself, after which EVAstream automatically adjusts the current speed to suit your level throughout the session.

When swimming against the current, you stay in the same spot and there are no lanes or turning points to help you orientate yourself. With EVAsubaqua underwater lighting, you regain that sense of direction through light. Each exercise follows a set pattern of three colours, allowing you to recognise from the colour changes how long an exercise lasts and how far you’ve progressed. This enables you to intuitively pace your effort throughout the exercise.

Train like a Pro offers 20 ready-made training sessions and also allows you to create your own training sessions and programmes. This means you can not only train at your own level, but also tailor the content and structure of your training sessions to your personal training goals.

Yes, in two ways. In the interactive training tool on this site, you can view a complete swimming workout from start to finish. You’ll see in real time how the current speed changes and how the underwater lighting shows your progress during each exercise.

If you’d like to experience it for yourself, you can book a trial swim session. You’ll then swim a workout with EVAstream and experience how the current, automatic controls, and—optionally—the underwater lighting work together during a workout. The EVA Experience Center will open in the spring of 2027. Until then, trial swim sessions will take place at other locations.

Yes. The EVA System can be used by every family member at their own level and in their own way. The flow rate of the EVAstream is adjustable, so one person can swim at a leisurely pace while another does an intense workout. Personal profiles allow you to save individual settings.

The EVAsubaqua underwater lighting can also be used independently of workouts. This allows you to use the same pool for sports and training, but just as easily for leisurely swimming or atmospheric lighting.

Children may use the EVAstream only under the supervision and guidance of an adult.

You start and select your workout using the EVA Web app on your phone or tablet. Once the workout has started, the EVA System automatically guides you through it and adjusts the current speed and rest periods according to the selected program.

If you want to control the system from the water while swimming, you can use the EVA System Remote. It is fully waterproof to IPX8 standards and clearly displays the relevant information on its e-ink screen. The remote charges wirelessly via the induction charging station.

With EVAsubaqua underwater lighting, you also don’t have to keep looking at a display during your workout. Colors and light signals guide you through the different parts of the workout.

Yes. With Train like a Pro (ECA System 3), you can create your own workouts. You choose the exercises, duration, and intensity, and arrange them in the desired order in the EVA Web app to create a complete workout. You can then combine multiple workouts into your own program, allowing you to work toward your personal training goals in a targeted way.

You can also link the EVAsubaqua underwater lighting to the exercises in your custom workouts. The colors and light signals will then guide you through the workout in the same way as they do in the twenty ready-made workouts.

The angle at which the turbine unit is positioned in the niche determines where the swimming current hits your body. If the turbine unit is not properly aligned, the current may flow under or over your body, and you will feel less resistance. Even a slight adjustment to the angle can significantly improve how the current is directed toward your body.

Because every swimmer’s position in the water is different, the position of the turbine unit is adjusted in consultation with you upon installation. This ensures that the swimming current aligns as closely as possible with your swimming posture, allowing you to get the most out of the EVAstream.

No. Both the Get Active and Train like a Pro workouts can be done without underwater lighting. The EVA System automatically controls the current speed, the various workout components, and the rest periods.

With EVAsubaqua underwater lighting, the workouts are also guided by light. When swimming against a current, you stay in the same spot and lack the lanes and turn points that normally provide orientation. EVAsubaqua restores that orientation with light. Each exercise follows a fixed pattern of three colors, allowing you to quickly recognize from the color changes how long an exercise lasts and how far you’ve progressed. This enables you to intuitively pace yourself throughout the exercise and focus on your workout without distraction.

Train like a Pro (ECA System 3) offers three programs with a total of twenty ready-to-go swim workouts. “Start” consists of 10 workouts ranging from 17 to 47 minutes, with duration and intensity gradually increasing. “Strength” includes 5 short, explosive sprint workouts lasting 11 to 17 minutes. “Fitness” consists of 5 longer workouts ranging from 32 to 61 minutes, designed to improve your endurance.

In addition, within “Train like a Pro,” you can create and save your own workouts and complete programs. This allows you to tailor the content and structure of your workouts to your own training goals.
